hey man, how are the Acid Test Dead recordings. would you know where I could find them, cause I wasen't aware there was any recordings of the Dead's "playing" at the Tests.

You have to dig around for them...there is a bootleg that cirulates from the Muir Beach acid tests...but it really sounds alot like the Dead tyring to be an L.A. pop band a'la Buffalo Springfield. You should lok for a bootleg called "SF State Trips Festival" which is really a good representaiton of what those acid tests were like. There is lots of trippy banter and weird music by the dead and kesey and the pranksters. Helps to have read "Kool Aid Acit test" book by Tom Wolf beforehand...you will know the backstory of alot of the stuff they say
