My listening preferences are very indirect and all over the place. I don't even think I have a "taste", I just listen to anything and everything that represents the best of their particular movements whether it's Metal, Jazz, Pop, Rock or Classical--I don't have any preference of genre; I just enjoy good music.

I believe in the album as the truest way to listen to and appreciate an artists work--essentially seeing them as an extension of classical composers symphonies which would come in movements revolving around a central theme. For this reason, I particularly enjoy themed, conceptual works, but don't mind mish-mashes either and still listen to them A-Z.

I am also drawn closely to auteurism, and prefer to listen to a sole person's work closely to study their progress. This is because I myself am a musician and composer, and so appreciate the intricacies of the music-making process.
