I happened to come across your Absolution review because it makes the RYM front page (???). It's hard to understand that you deny they utterly plagiarized Radiohead. Muse and Oasis are probably the most overrated and phoney bands in RYM. Then you only rate 2,5* Absolution which I found overrated too but at least some songs are great like "Wouldn't It Be Nice", "God Only Knows" and "Sloop John B". The Beach Boys vocals are perfect which is not at all the case of Muse ones completely cloned on Radiohead ones... ;-)
Anyway you seem to have better tastes with Bob Dylan, Tim Buckley, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones :-)

That's true; The Beach Boys sound very clean, even cleaner than the Beatles. I like the BB but the Fab 4 much better. I never liked Muse music which sounds too bombastic to me.
