"Djent" is used far more commonly than "math metal" by the press and fans of the genre for any band except maybe for Meshuggah.
Just comes across, to me, as saying "this is what you should call it; if you don't, then you're not a ~real~ fan". That make sense? Descriptions are simply there to describe how the genre sounds, its history and give some examples of bands that typify the style. It needn't be a place for saying why one name for a genre should be used over another -- that's for the aka field and the meta comments.
PS, I hope my calling it condescending wasn't snarky. Wasn't my attention. Just thought that the description isn't quite what I'd like to see. (Though I should add, the sentence before about Djent being onomatopoeic is excellent and helps explain to me, someone who knows nothing about it, what it sounds like. It's just the one sentence on Djent vs Math Metal that I'm not keen on.) Cheers.
