I was going through some old paperwork when I came across four or five pages of mixtape notes you sent me a few years back. I remember it was from the MP forums. And it was indeed an awesome mix. Good times.
my apologies for not responding earlier. As for the picture, i dont quite remember. I think it was a piece of digital fractal art form somewhere like deviantart or a similar site. You can save any of the pictures i have....i usually upload in higher quality.
Paving the way for tech death. What do you like most about it? I would say the end of venom upon the blade. Best mixture of atmospheric black metal, post rock and death metal. So good
indeed, the transitions between the crisscrossing melodies and dissonant shades drive each song towards their appropriate climaxes. Every jazz fusion segment flows like water between the intensity of the blurring riffs. tis very purposeful.
It almost seems as if they take cues from The Faceless and Augury on how to make all the noise, and poly-rhythms, form a huge wall of seemingly incompatible sounds, while simultaneously leaving no riff unnecessary. Fallujah is really the best at their game of the moment. That ep probably took a good 3 months to write and master.
