----VERY #RARE MUST #COLLECT----
5.0 unreasonable idolization. something that gets a very strong emotional reaction out of me, to the point where it affects my judgement. it's like staring at the sun! but in a good way!
4.5 genius. something radical coming from a previously unknown perspective. one of a kind and can't be replicated.
4.0 classic. masterfully crafted. pretty much writes the rules on how its genre should be handled at that given time.

----the majority of things----
3.5 awesome. something that everybody should definitely hear. reasonably innovative. its got a leg above it's peers, either in genre or time it was released.
3.0 a great piece. it has a distinct vision thats pulled off well. nothing bad about it.
2.5 it's good, i like it. it doesn't reinvent the wheel but it gets the job done. check it out or don't.
2.0 i didn't really like it a whole bunch, but i could see how other people would enjoy it. something not for me.

----probably shouldnt even bother----
1.5 a couple of redeemable things about it, but not very enjoyable as a whole and not worth the overall time. tires and fails. a bad piece.
1.0 nothing redeeming or interesting. terrible. what the fuck are you doing.
0.5 gives me blind, dumb hatred that transcends the music (or movie). another thing where my feelings effect my judgement. it has to really get under my skin to get this score. it's like staring at the sun! in a very realistic way!
0.0 something that doesn't exist, i.e. dr dre's detox
