He He, the truth is I watched Rainman as a kid, so that's why. But I also think that Cruise is effortlessly good as a little selfish jerk in that movie (I wonder why) and I enjoyed the hatred he felt for his father. Hoffman was overrated there, but still did his thing well. It also helps that I don't remember the last 50 minutes or so of the film.

I have to see Cain, anyway. I really enjoy De Palma's thrillers even when they are far fetched or simply bad. I even liked Obsession.

hey hey! nee Yes hab ich früher hoch und runter gehört, aber ich nahm an, dass sie nach Close to the Edge größenwannsinnig geworden sind und nix gutes mehr produziert haben (Tales From Topographic Oceans fand ich schrecklich). Also hab ich Relayer niemals gehört. Danke für den Tipp

Exactly, not a bad movie, but the tragedy is too obvious. I always associated the hype with the fact that it was an animated movie of that era.
