The other day, a fellow RYMer asked about the origin of my user name. After I replied, he suggested I repost the information here, for the curious. You can all thank berjo.
YEARS ago, back when my wife and I were dating, I (somehow, not quite sure) bestowed upon her the nickname 'Jellybean' - I probably said 'whaddaya mean, jellybean?' - and it stuck. She liked the nickname so much, we called our first dog 'Jelly Bean', which lead to all sorts of problems when it came time to throw around the ol' nickname.
Eventually, the dog became 'Jelly' 'jellybeandog' 'Jell-o' 'The Royal Jelly' 'damn dog' and somewhere along the way 'jellius beanus' (the long lost obscure roman emperor ho ho). My wife became 'The Bean' 'Beano' 'El Beano' (rhymes with 'el nino') or 'yes dear.'
I ended up taking the nickname 'jelliusbeanus' because typically, jelly-bean was already stolen everywhere - I've used it now for... a good 8-9 years anyway ;-)
And thus - I am Jellius Beanus (here I had to drop an l to fit in the 11 character limit).
The State Of Industrial Lists:
These are slowly being compiled and adjusted. Any suggestions will be accepted - just PM me, or add it to the Industrial thread on the General board (Thread begins HERE).
While I appreciate track suggestions as well as artist/album recommendations, the final track choice is mine alone - hey, my list, my choice.
You can disagree with the inclusion of a band or release - but odds are if I've put it on there, and made the list public, you probably won't change my mind.
There are some discrepancies between different sources about years of release - At some point, some items might shift from one list to another, or might display a different year than what is listed in RYM. Typically, I go with the best guess based on information at hand.
