I finally overcame my aversion to EPs last night after hearing My Bloody Valentine's "You Made Me Realise." Finding out that I've overlooked such an important part of B&S's discography for so long is like having a second Christmas!
It is like a hatfull of hollow is the best thing the smiths every released. Must be a mid 80' thing to realease a whole load of singles after your first LP and never put them on an album. Anyway enjoy!
I've always liked Loveless, but then again, I was 1 year old when it came out, so I can't imagine how irritating the hype must've been. I do find myself reaching for Isn't Anything much more often...
Hit the nail right on the head, had just started Uni, moved away from home and Isn't Anything was my first purchase. So maybe like alot of music for me it is very strongly associated with memories of people, time and place. If you haven't already check out some of the Ride stuff like Chelsea Girl, not as highly rated as Loveless, but I have enjoyed it more.
