synthpop = synthar, trummaskiner, elektroniska instrument.
thrash metal = distade gitarrer, hårda riff, etc

så jag antar att en musikstil som blir nåt slags mellanläge mellan metal o synth blir "industri". Trummaskiner, distade gitarrer och hårda riff.
