A music collector and listener above all. ok if you listen to a cdr/mp3 but be careful when you rate, you just come close, not actually rating/listening the same album, as if you listen to the original vinyl (or reissue lp in some cases - also remastered cds/SACD or high resolution files from pc) in an expensive (over $50000) hi-end turntable-based system with real bass/resolution/soundstage etc. dot.
About my rating system, 5 stars is too personal depending on more than just musical content!! so absolutely trust my 4,5 and then 4 stars !!! Ancient greeks used to say: "Οὐκ ἐν τῷ πολλῷ τὸ εὖ, ἀλλ᾿ ἐν τῷ εὖ τὸ πολύ." i.e.'There is not much value in quantity (in our case overblown productions, masses delirium, huge albums output) but quality has the most value', cheers, have great listening sessions!!
