Due to a rating system designed to avoid left skew of the distribution of ratings, the true rating of any given track with a listed rating of r is given as approximately [3+4*ln(r)] out of 10. This is so that the median rating is roughly 2.5 with relatively good ratings above and relatively bad ratings below.
