Some notes on ratings. For some "BEST OF" lists in an attempt to reflect the additional value or enjoyability albums have that are consistently decent if never spectacular, I have devised the following system of additional points. This system also tries to account for the psychological effect of albums with truly great tracks, hence extra points for good tracks. But the main purpose is to give proper respect to albums one actually likes to play all the way through because there are so few poor tracks. Thus, the additional points for consistency are greater in particular ratios to bonuses for good tracks. This is an attempt to capture the psychological forces that inspired one to actually put an album on the player. An album of all 7 out of 10s will often 'feel' alot more enjoyable than one with a couple of great tracks and nothing else. This system is an attempt to give me scores that reflect the score I would intuitively give the album. Tell me if you think it could be improved. Its just a test. I leave the raw average in the review for those occasions that is more useful.

BONUS POINTS FOR ALBUM RATINGS: Historical importance can give +0.1, its like a creativity bonus.

A = ANY TRACKS 10/10 = +0.3 D = 50% – 8/10 = +1.0
B = ANY TRACKS 9/10 = +0.2 E = 50% – 7/10 = +0.3
C = ANY TRACKS 8/10 = +0.1 F = 70% - 7/10 = +0.6
