ALRIGHT - I finally wrote a review for Philips! It got a little lengthy, haha. It's on this recording. Hope you are well! I will scan volume 2 of paramount soon.
Hi, thanks for the input regarding Alberta Hunter! – I could add the compilations for three of the missing songs on [List537750], the other three songs are, well, still missing.
Thx for the comment regarding my jump-blues list. As for your other comment, here is what I added to that entry...
Note: The keen eye of fixbutte caught me. If you've noticed, I credited this track to a Wynonie compilation because the actual/original single was released by Lucky Millinder and His Orchestra -> Who Threw the Whiskey in the Well / Shipyard Social Function. It's not like I didn't know, but the set-up with the list makes it impossible to credit two artists within one entry (to have it credited on their respective (artist) page). So why didn't I just link the original? Because it's Wynonie! :)
Diesmal sind wir uns nicht 100% einig, aber fast. Ich glaube, dass wir uns oft einig sind liegt daran, dass wir die wir die technischen Möglichkeiten bei frühen Aufnahmen berücksichtigen.
Take Your Burden to the Lord and Leave It There / Lift Him Up That's All
thanks for your comment regarding Brother Claude Ely. I updated my 1954 songs list accordingly.
Viele Grüsse,
Andre
