Hello there and welcome!

I like lots of music. My audio player has everything on it from Tool to Gershwin. There's so much music in the world, and I'm trying to hear every last bit. RYM is a great site with lots of different people that have lots of different tastes. I've made a few friends on here, and I hope I make some more.

Unfortunately, some people don't have a very nice attitude about diversity. With so much negativity and badness in the world, do we really need to have it on RYM? I've discovered so much wonderful music from looking at peoples ratings/reviews, and I believe that mocking or disrespecting someone for their ratings/preferences is unacceptable on RYM. In fact, I find it silly, petty, and poisonous. Try to be understanding and realize that if everyone thought the same thoughts and listened to the same music, we'd be in some Orwellian nightmare. The name of this site is Rate YOUR Music, and anyone can do that any way they see fit.
