It's probably hard to articulate, but do you have any idea why, as someone who clearly really likes Malick overall, you disliked Days of Heaven?

I mean, I think he's been consistently great since Badlands, so I guess I just have a soft spot for Malick in general. I always edit my viewcount tag and bump my rating when I re-watch something, which saves me the mistake of neglecting potential re-ratings or whatever.

I actually too just rewatched it and again saw the genius. It's unlike any other cinematic experience.
