Chemical Plant Zone (Best/Hyper-Best) [Hi-Lights of my year/life] {A}:
5/5+* - Really awesome, absolute arch-favourites
4.5* - Enduring beloved favourites

You Are Winner Zone (Really Cool) {B}:
4* - Consistently admire to a great extent
3.5* - Seriously enjoy a lot

Peripheral Friend Zone (Commendable) [Deserves to exist] {C}:
3* - Pretty cool, respectable, enjoyable sometimes
2.5* - Mediocre but passable

Urban Sprawl Zone (Not really good) [Actively dislike] {D-F}:
2* - Actually kind of bad
1.5* - Actually pretty bad
1* - Actually really bad
0.5* - Impossibru

I generally tend to like most music I hear, so I try to be pretty discriminating with the ratings. Anything from 3.5 up indicates pretty strong respect/enjoyment, so don't feel bad if your favourite album isn't 5'd. Additionally, music I dislike/am uninterested in is also music I don't listen to much/fully, and thus have no real need to look at. So I'm (generally) not gonna sit through an hour of Cannibal Corpse just so I feel comfortable dissin' it.

First listenings generally receive a 2-4 star rating, just as a kind of mental and digital placeholder. If I grow fond of the album, rating may increase. If I lose interest, it may go down.
