Shouldn't you've been listening to Converge by now? Seeing as you're such a big fan of stuff like Gospel and Fugazi, I think they'd be right up your alley
Well let me know how that goes, Converge is practically screamo, really. About the reviews, which is something multiple people have asked me, I have lost the right to publish them because I cussed a lot in them (at least thats what I presume). I'm gonna get around to rereviewing most of my reviews, but for now laziness stops me. :P
I remember a while back you recommended me Gospel's The Moon is a Dead World, and said that the drumming was awesome on it. Well, I'm just here to say that you were 100% correct.
Sorry to bother you, but it's just that I've been wondering this for a long time: way back 8 or so years ago, I quit posting at what used to be the digitaldreamdoor website because at the time I was dealing with a mental health crisis, but I remember signing on years later only to find that there had been a PM waiting in my inbox from someone who must have inferred from my posting at the time that I was suicidal - it was just a simple message of well-wishes but I actually found it really inspiring, enough so that I haven't forgotten about it since. All of this explanation is to say that after racking my brain trying to remember who it was, I think it was probably you. If it really was you, I just wanted to say my most sincere thanks for taking the time to write that! - I had very little to go on in terms of reasons for living at the time and a simple message like that resounded with me a whole lot! It is possible though that I may be remembering wrong and that it wasn’t you in which case I apologize for typing out this huge speech! Back in 2011, I actually messaged another user of DDD from that era over here at RYM wondering if maybe he would remember me but I don’t think he did lol. I didn’t actually post a whole lot back then but I lurked around the website for at least 2 years. My username was the same back then, I think. Anyway, even if it isn’t you I wish you a splendid day out there for taking the trouble to read this!
