I haven't been on in a while so I'm going to be rating and reviewing a large amount of music over the next couple of weeks as well as re-reviewing/re-rating some of my old ones.

I listen to a little bit of everything. Mostly classical, celtic, some folk, blues, some early hip-hop / old school rap (like The Roots), techno/house/electronica (whatever you want to call it), soft rock, classic rock, alternative rock, hard rock, punk, celtic punk, horror punk, hardcore, some post-hardcore, heavy metal, power metal, thrash metal, speed metal, death metal, melodic death metal, technical death metal, brutal death metal, black metal, some symphonic black metal, groove metal, alternative metal, stoner metal, doom metal, sludge metal, and grindcore.

I can't stand modern pop, "gangsta" rap, country (especially the old stuff), modern "emo", screamo, and most gospel.
When I talk about "modern emo", I mean bands like Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, and processed crap like that. Old school "emo", which is actually called emotive hardcore, like Alensya or Jimmy Eat World actually isn't that bad.

You may notice that overall I do seem to rate high. The reason for this probably comes partially from my love for music of pretty much all genres. Also, I tend to rate metal more than any other genre, as I am a HUGE metalhead.

3 = Okay album
2.5 = Mediocre
2 = Poor
1.5 = Crap
1 = Is this even music?
.5 = Wouldn't p*ss on it to put out a fire

Still on the process of re-listening to all the music I already have so I can rate it, so don't expect me to rate bands I just learned about as much.
