Yeah man. I remember I couldn't get a ride to go to the record store to buy It's Not Me, It's You so I walked 3 miles to get there in the rain (sounds like an old person story). She had this presence about her that she seems to have lost and it kind of sucks. I haven't listened to Sheezus front to back yet but the singles haven't been that good and she just seems like she's doing music for the wrong reasons? I dunno...
You know...it's like this idea that we want that void of spunky anti-pop yet mainstream artist to be filled and we want Lily to do it but it might be time to realize that in her absence she's lost that spot. Granted, I can't tell you who, if anyone has filled it, but maybe she's just finding a new place for herself and we're just gonna have to wait until she does.
