bosses are way too hard on pacifist. ive had to retry the ceroba fight about fifteen times now and still cant avoid that first attack, it’s crazy. also why does the miniboss in steamworks take so long to get through
about an hour in and i think the thing that's really killing my enjoyment with this game is that its just not particularly funny. visuals are great though, original music is alright, fights are decently challenging too. ik its difficult trying to follow up undertale when youre not toby fox but i do wish this had a bit more of an original identity to it, maybe that'll come in a few more hours
the more time passes the more this is growing off me tbh. it's high quality and all, the gameplay is generally more fun. but idk, structurally speaking it's less thought out than the original game. there also definitely feels like missed opportunities (mainly due to unbalanced screentime). i think ceroba's backstory isn't really morally grey enough for it to be as compelling as asgore or alphys's moral dilemmas, she just comes out of it looking really bad and dumb. i think the game could've used an actual starlo fight, and i'm really surprised we didn't see kanako as an amalgamate at any point
