People often defend High Moon's licensed games to be a brand of quality different from other licensed games, but for me this game never rises above average. It features very typical third person shooter with generic weaponry, the only thing different is that the enemies are robots. The story is lackluster, and the level design is extremely linear and repetitive. I like that you can play on both sides of the conflict, but nothing really changes too much. Its still the same boring shooting just against differently coloured enemies. You would though that transforming would be a central mechanic to this game, but its only used to close the gap between you and your enemies for melee moves, and most of the time its not worth it. The boss fight are also pretty bad. The actual shooting does feel good, and though generic its moderatly enjoyable to test out all the weapons. That said, the lenght of the game is far too great for the depth of its mechanics.
Mediocre in everysingle way.
