The game has a lot of variety for different builds and playstyles. It also features a really clever NG+ system, which rewards players who are able to complete levels with only a small number of cards, but the roguelike aspects are on the rougher side, as most of the time they feel insignificant and take too much time to get. You earn Astral Dust at the end of each run, along with an Offering, the better you do; the better Offerings and more Astral Dust you'll earn. Astral Dust is used to create more Offerings, which come in 4 rarities, Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Mythic. Commons and Uncommons feel practically useless, giving extremely tiny buffs, Rares are usually what you'll be running once you get into the sort of endgame part of the game, and Mythics are terrible, the UI would tell you that they seem great, but that's only if you set them as your central offering spot where it'll give you a huge boast in whatever you bought (Attack speed, tower range, etc.), in every other spot, they function the exact same as Rares, which makes buying more than one seem wasteful, as Mythics cost 3x the amount of Astral Dust to create compared to Rares. Also, the game has a lag problem once you get into the endgame and become overpowered, but besides all of that, the overall experience feels great, the different units you face feel great to fight, with very unique ones such as the EMP bomb, which if killed, temporarily disables a close by tower, or the medic which will heal a percentage of health of other nearby units every second. At the endgame parts of runs, the game can feel extremely easy, and boring, even with +2800% unit health, 3/5.
