Enemies in this game are used as means to jump from or grapple towards with this amazing hook mechanic during platforming challenges, them being repetitive and bland is irrelevant in this game's case.
The second half does have pacing problems, but it's not that bad (especially if you pick up power seals while you're at it). It also has by far the best platforming segments of the game, with some tightly designed and mechanically inspired challenges. Could it be paced better? Yeah. Is it still good? Absolutely.
