Silent Hill: Downpour

Silent Hill deserved a better death than this.

it's not that bad but the ending is just so fucking dull. I actually got a bit scared playing this back in the day, something that didn't happen with Origins and Homecoming.

dull-ass monster design and not scary but doesn't deserve a score this low. the water motif is cool plus the story and themes are probably the best post-Team Silent

I appreciate this game's ambition but I don't know. So many broken, frustrating aspects with this one.

This game desperately needs a remaster. I remember the performance/optimization was insanely bad. The core game is good though.

I had fond memories of this game and always thought it was the most interesting entry since Team Silent. Still, it was a frustrating experience to play it again. While I think some of the ideas are good, even great, the technical errors make the game almost unplayable. I can forgive a few glitches, but you can't even run for five seconds without some sort of slowdown or stutter. It could have been such a good game if the developers had been given a little more time to polish it.
