Note: Unlike reviews, comments are considered temporary and may be deleted/purged without notice.The combat in general is solid but the other half of the game, the writing, is totally inane. The characters are paper cut outs and it feels like the plot never actually starts going anywhere. If I have to read one more text about "what do you think Naoya is planning" or "Are the Shomonkai trustworthy", I'm gonna scream. It's a great example of a narrative that's so occupied with presenting THEMES and MESSAGES that it forgets to actually do anything interesting with them.
Characters are pretty bad as well, with most of the middle days spent cleaning up the mess of two of the most idiotic. seriously, midori might one of my most hated characters in anything ever, absolutely loathed her lol
