Title
Considering the Cyber Chase movie is already structured like a video game, you would expect it to translate over to game form easily. This game unfortunately came out too early for its own good. Had this been a PS2 game, more 3D platformers could be used as a reference point. Instead, Cyber Chase heavily borrows from the gameplay style of Crash Bandicoot, which is already a frustrating and difficult game to begin with. Cyber Chase, as you might expect, ends up being a frustrating experience with its combination of slow movement, annoying camera angles, and epic troll level design. The game requires many precise jumps and, due to its abundance of pestering enemies with limited items to fight them with, some good projectile aim. Because the game wants to deliver the Crash Bandicoot experience, it features some 'vehicle' levels as well, that involve riding on a skateboard or a sled. The controls in these are also finicky, meaning most of this game is an unpleasant experience. Only the 'world traveling' aspect of these levels can keep this game interesting, but it isn't enough for someone with any kind of 3D platformer knowledge.

Title
Scooby Doo just doesn't translate well to video games, mainly since 80% of the show is pretty much a detective mystery that has little to no action. I remember when Cyber Chase first aired on Cartoon Network, I didn't think it was great, but at the same time it did change things up, it wasn't so much a detective mystery, and was more action and packed with more monsters. This is a basic platformer game and nothing is good about it. The game looks ugly, plays bad, is generic, forgettable and feels nothing like Scooby other than using the characters from the show. This game should have never been made, it feels like it was made by amateurs trying to quickly cash in on a somewhat popular kid's cartoon TV movie.

Soundtrack is great, the gameplay is really bad. Even 5 year old me thought it was bad.
