I wasn't expecting to like this game as much as I did. The gameplay is split up into two major sections: the world map and the battles. The overworld sections are very similar to Mount and Blade; you run around a large open world, visiting towns, dealing with factions, fighting battles and collecting troops. The battles are similar to Mount and Blade as well, where you control a single powerful unit fighting alongside your army. Your character controls basically the same way a MOBA character does, utilizing powerful directed skills that are on timers while auto-attacking in between, and you can give rudimentary orders to your units. The game is definitely a little janky and the English localization is pretty bad (this game was made by a Chinese company) but the story isn't bad and the sandbox world is really fun to mess around in. I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, but if the idea of a 2D Mount and Blade with MOBA like battles sounds interesting to you I'd say check it out.
