    If you are "grinding" you are playing the game incorrectly. Rust is balanced around snowballing and balancing risk vs reward on what you leave your base with. I have 2500 hours in this game because I am an adrenaline junkie and this game gives me genuine fight or flight reactions. 10/10. Also love how this game forces you to be smart and on your toes in a way no other game ever has. The loop of spawning in, splitting your team up to specific roles like getting cards/farming for starter base, and rushing to evict your neighbors so your clan gets to own that part of the map has led to genuinely almost all of my favorite experiences in gaming.

    Nothing wrong with hating this game but it gives you something you cannot get anywhere else, and I don't see that changing any time soon.
