Pathetically easy once you've get hold of siege weaponry and can get pretty annoying with its cumbersome government management, but endlessly replayable if you play as a vagrant. One of the best ROTK titles.
That being said, I'm surprised this game doesn't have a recognizeable cult status. It's easily the most well-crafted game design of all the ROTK series, even if some aspects are terribly unbalanced and Cao Cao is a game breaker in every single way.
