Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness

A further proof that spin-offs are better (and perhaps more popular) than the main franchise. Gale of Darkness had better battle animations than "Clown Freak"'s 1st edition of Sword/Shield from nearly 20 years later.
The main franchise is either a rushed walmart triathlon or, sometimes, an outright swindle.

both this and colo are boring and overrated af

Colosseum was already a good game but this just improves on almost every aspect (besides not having as cool a player character). I think I do genuinely prefer replaying this over most of the mainline games these days.

I still have my gamecube with the stickers from this games release on it. It's awesome.

This game was pretty fun but I found it lacking in difficulty, story, and overall length. When you catch Shadow Lugia at the end I felt none of the sense of triumph that you would've felt from catching the real thing in the GBA games.
