Title
Of the 2D Metal Gears, this one is the best and makes huge improvements on the original. This game is a lot more stealth focused and gives you the ability to crouch. Don't get me wrong, the game still is full of bullshit at times and there are times where you won't have any clue where to go or need to do some obscure thing to advance, but its a solid enough 2D stealth game that has a decent story and some good music as well. Yeah all the 3D Metal Gear games blow this out of the water, but it still was a decent game for the early 90s.

    Imagine never experimenting with the game and learning that the trucks are actually fast travel points that you can exploit for your convenience.

    this is infinitely more esoteric to me than metal gear 1, i only had to google like 2 things for that game but i had to follow a guide consistently for the back half of this. idk what that says about me
