Mega Man Battle Network

Trying to replay this over a decade later, and the whole game is complete fucking bullshit. No idea how I managed to do the whole ElecMan dungeon as a kid without getting extremely fucking pissed off. And navigating the Underworld right afterward, when the entire Internet looks exactly the same? Holy shit, Capcom! At least the music is good, but the series improves a ridiculous amount by the sequel.

Gameplay's great! Labrynths are a bit tiresome, but they at least have lots of cool ideas.

After playing and loving One Step From Eden I had to check this series out. I’m really trying to brave through it because the later games look a lot better but the power plant dungeon has really killed my drive to continue.

fun concept, cool combat system, absolutely awful dungeon and puzzle design
