Pretty obviously trying to ride the PaRappa waves, but this is probably the only example of a spiritual successor game that I really like, especially with how innovative and distinct everything ended up being. A real shame that the suspiciously close launch windows to PaRappa 2 and the PSP port of the first game never meant that this game caught wind.
