Linking When you mention an album, artist, film, game, label, etc - it's recommended to link to the item the first time you mention it. Doing so will make it easier to search for your post and give it more visibility. To link an item, use the search box above, or find the shortcut that appears on the page that you want to link. You can customize the link name of shortcuts by using the format [Artist12345,Custom Name].

Superbly fun, if not frustrating at times. When you are in the groove and hitting the levels the way they are meant to be hit, it feels really satisfying. Some parts require a little too much precision, and I don't like how you can't resume a level at the nearest checkpoint if you have to quit mid-game - it will start you from the beginning. Other than that, had a blast.

When you die you can immediately respawn. Getting the timing right for attacking, dodging, deflecting, and more is so much fun.
While it is frustrating getting stuck on a level, its frustrating in a good way, I have my deal of toxicity and this game didn't bring out the gamer rage that you experience in multiplayer games...
The starting levels are much more focused on teaching you the basics but later on the levels will give you options on you'll tackle an area. Some levels have puzzles that was pretty boring and long but it won't be much prevalent on near the end.
There are also builds in this game where you can choose to improve your abilities whichever you enjoy to use the most. I really liked the mod deflecting bullets.

cybervoid sections are abysmal, story is generic and intrusive (i turned off speech after about an hour), but outside of that the arena gameplay is superb. just wish there were less of the everything else that isnt arena gameplay
the person that thought adding in forced environmental slide puzzles in their cyberpunk FPS game about doing sick ninja slides and slicing dudes in half at the speed of light should be tried at the hague
yeah the puzzles aren’t great, story constantly being shoved at you in voiceover feels a bit cheap n boring, but man this game feels like Sekiro meets Doom Eternal meets Celeste (or something like that) which is just such an amazing winning combo for me. certainly flawed in very obvious ways but still pretty excellent.
I have a friend whose least favourite game is this. I don't really get it from the gameplay I've seen but I wonder if anyone else can speak to this as a viscerally negative experience
I didn't like this game either, gave up before it got excruciatingly difficult. It's one of those games that seems like it should be easy to play hard to master but inevitably has too many issues due to dev oversights like what classifies as a platform in terms of what sliver jagged cyberpunk terrain counts, or bad rats levels of restarting a level and enemies shoot in completely randomized patterns if you try to do something that worked the first time and then you just get completely destroyed. It's extremely rage inducing and it's like the game is trolling you. Other than that it doesn't have anything unique to offer in terms of aesthetic it's practically one of those grapple hook games that you find a dime a dozen on steam like Cyber Hook or Verlet Swing where the game feels like its taking the piss by fucking you over with its poor level design and doesn't have that "one more time" factor the same way hotline miami does, it's very much a nu-indie game. Something for redditor types to go "this game is SO COOL!" and offers nothing substantial of gameplay that those grapple hook games don't already offer.
and the music slaps.
high points: incredible fighting mechanics
definitely a mixed bag, but when the game is good it is stunningly fun to me
