Title
A masterpiece and the gold standard for gaming. Silly, ridiculous campy fun that needs a remaster. All of the boss fights are hard-tuned into me. I'd love to play this again.

This game is completely hilarious and I loved playing this as a kid. Gaming in the 90's was amazing I can't even imagine being a teenager around '97 when new gaming was peaking for sure.

After the 90's games started to go after awards over the nitty-gritty essential gameplay that actually makes them fun. People stopped making games to test and challenge themselves in a fun way and wanted golden trophies for the most bitter try-hard pillow-biting narratives they could come up with.

I prefer games where you spin around and hit stuff, or lick something, or stab a skeleton (or he stabs you). Which is why I've been lost in modern gaming, but I'll give it a chance, alright!?

But yes Gex rocks the socks and for a kid at this time this game was the bees-knees. The Kung Pow boss with the TVs (Moo-Shoo Pork or something?), the haunted house level, the jokes, the cynical 90's all rolled into one.

Games like Gex don't come out anymore--hilarious, laidback and fun to play. Great times.

Up at the top of want to play again probably. But a lot of games have come out since then too.
