A seriously, seriously poor imitation of the real thing that reduces a totally interactive and immersive world into an exercise in pointless button-clicking; you honestly get the feeling while playing this version that nothing you're doing is actually affecting the way the game is being played, and given how difficult it is to navigate the menus, search for anything, or make tactical changes, it's tempting to feel that the game doesn't actually want you to affect it. I know a lot of people who make this joke about all Football Manager incarnations, but this time it's true - this genuinely is about as much fun as an Excel spreadsheet.
