Title
Many Flaws, Missed Potential
When i started the game up the trailers showed it to be awesome. It showed flinthook being a badass and all, slowing time, shooting bad guys and grappling to various places.

I purchased the game, and booted it up. I checked the settings to see if everything was ok before i played. Then, the first red flag arrived - lack of video options and controls. I was playing with a controller, and there was only two options for the controls - pro and basic. I just rolled with it and went to the tutorial.

They showed me how to use the controls, but no matter what it just felt uncomfortable. Then, i loaded into a run. Normally you should be able to get some progress, but the game's mechanics and rooms are so poorly designed that you can't get any. In addition, leveling up feels unsatisfying and there is little to no incentive to keep playing.

You can guess what i did - i refunded the steam money. This game isn't worth it and is poorly designed. There are so many better roguelikes out there.

    This is a game not worth picking up. It feels extremely repetitive and the controls are so awful that they make the game extremely inaccessible. If you have a lack of fine motor skills or need to customize your controls, stay away from thiis game!
