the puzzles and FMV scenes are pretty clunky and dated, but oh man, the gameplay with the invisible enemies is INTENSE. Such a cool concept. The gunplay is perfectly calibrated for tension. Only being able to hit enemies when they're close and having to time your gun's charge up for it to coincide with the enemies being in dangerously close proximity is terrifying, especially the segment near the end of the game with like 45 minutes of enemy onslaughts in several labyrinths where any attack on you is an instakill. I'd recommend playing this with a walkthrough open at least.
Sure, the combat itself is really interesting and intense, but the mazes in which it takes place are so unfair that they pretty much ruin the experience
Pegarange. you're right. It really needed a map of some kind. And i definitely resorted to just sticking to one wall to make it out of most of the mazes. That's where this game's age really shows.
