really picks up in an insane way at the middle of act 2 and keeps that momentum for the rest of the game, especially during the latter half of act 3. found myself getting somewhat bored towards the end of act 1 and especially into act 2 (military base levels put me right to sleep no matter what) but wow it really picks up when Escher labs introduces the time stop serum, flipped level geometry, and the cowgirl enemy in the exact same level. also homecoming is fucking incredible

Expected absolutely nothing from the graphics. But I didn't expect the level design, handling and atmosphere to be so great and the game to be so much fun. I also bought the great soundtrack.

Horseshit retro microsoft paint FPS. If the real old FPS games was anything like this wank I would not have played any of them.

I'm pretty sure the scarecrow enemies are meant to look like the guy from dark night of the scarecrow, but I've never seen anyone else point this out.

Takes so goddamn long to get going but once you hit the lab in episode 2 its nothing but fantastic
