Dark Messiah of Might and Magic: Elements

The combat is horrible, but the environmental killing is fun

way, way, WAY, cooler than it is good.

So COOL though

it's main draw is the tech, but it comes across similarly to Crysis where it just feels like a tech demo rather than a game. Way less good than the two games surrounding it and now that I've actually finished it and am moving back to Dishonored (the game that got me critically thinking about my gaming, well alongside and very much in comparison to Skyrim honestly) I am not talking about Dark Messiah anymore I'm talking about RETURN TO RAVENHOLM AND HALF LIFE 2 EPISODE 3. Why they cancelled these, I don't know, maybe Valve were afraid of dying the hero and realised that ImSims will always kill capitalism and so to be a company that makes money you must never develop an actual ImSim. Don't think Valve could ever really die given the revenue they get from Steam, tho.

Would be amazing if you didnt play 90% of the game in fuckin BLUE NOCTOVISION.

pretty disappointed by the incredibly linear design, but it gets a lotta mileage out of throwing boxes at orcs
