Crush Crush is an incremental game that features funny writing and cute girls. It's almost a slam dunk, what everyone wants from a game. Unfortunately, the "incremental" part ramps up way too quickly. The game is based around the idea of resetting almost everything in order to do thinks more quickly the next time, which gets more annoying the further you get. I don't want to reset, but every girl I haven't completed wants $15 billion worth of merchandise. Thankfully, one thing that doesn't reset is the text message conversations or "phone flings". This is where the game's writing shines, with girls like Willow and Francine giving a solid amount of laughs. (Lake is the worst, though) Unfortunately, these conversations are unlocked by main game progression, and sometimes hit roadblocks solved by main game progression. The phone flings kept me coming back until they all ended or required arbitrary milestones. Crush Crush is almost a great game, but progression just comes far too slowly. I know they want me to spend my real money, but I am just a cheapskate, I suppose.
