Wow okay I definitely get it's hyper realistic depiction of highschoolers, but damn I don't see the purpose it services. Like I guess maybe for black comedy reasons, but it feels like there's something else missing within the comedy. I feel like it's missing commentary or something like that. All I'm getting is this is just an edgy comedy game
I always cringe when I hear ppl talk about this game's supposed "amazing" social commentary or "deep" feminist themes, so I think your appraisal is spot-on. The game is meant to be shallow and meanspirited, that's part of the humor.
a game made for and by one of the myopic pieces of shit possible, sobrono3 genuinely sucks at what he does and is only doing "well" becuse hes piggybacking from making shitty abridged series to making a shitty "visual novel"
as someone who was a patron for macks years ago i guess on some level it's a bit gratifying to see him really reach his peak of popularity with this, but then i remember he's well into his 30s now and still writes and acts like a fucking teenage FYAD poster who's on his third account, and where literally every other line from every character is some belligerent antagonistic one-liner from his twitter drafts he's stockpiled
