      its not just a good football manager game, its just an amazing game. so many kids wasted years of their life to this so it has so much nostalgia too. People still mod this to use current squads of football teams. It's that good

      This is considered the peak of football management sims by a lot of people, being the perfect mid-point between the modern and the old. The balance between data and gameplay was perfected here, I think. A lot of detail to get lost in, but not an overwhelming amount that it ever becomes a chore.
