Unfortunately it was a commercial failure and the proper ending being a DLC was one of the main reasons people turned against Capcom for during that time, they probably want to forget about it.
The very funny part about it is that the developers themselves thought this was a cool idea. They conceptualized the game’s meat of 18 episodes as the televised anime, while the ending DLC was meant to be a final OVA thing that wrapped things up. It sounds fun when they explain it, but it’s an absolutely poor commercial decision.
Dumb fun and great spectacle but lacks anything beyond its presentation. Still had a good time with it, but this absolutely isnt a game you play for its combat.
