Anyone who loved this should check out some of Kitty Horrorshow's other works on itch.io. Many of those in her Haunted Cities collections (like Scarlet Bough, Basements, and Tenement to name only a few) are also deeply unnerving, psychologically immersive, and fantastically written mini-horrors like this.
Maybe I played it too late, when analog horror has already been meme'd to death and I no longer find it scary or unnverving at all. The game has an interesting concept, I guess, but I find the delivery a bit pretentious. Even if it claims to have multiple endings, it's actually on-rails and really dull. Doesn't live up to the hype, imo.
i really dont think the writing is anything special at all, the monologues are actually kind of corny if you ask me. very memorably frightening game all the same even if it has like 0 replay value for me personally
Doesn't live up to the hype, imo.
