Gbc version is so bad so that’s what I’m rating. I imagine the PS1 version is probably better

  the GBC version has its own separate page now (Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare [GBC]) since it's pretty much a remake (demake).

Haha I just played through the GBC game and actually kinda liked it. The combat is dogshit, but I found the environments and atmosphere compelling in an amusing demake kind of way. Like the closest we ever got to the cancelled Resident Evil GBC port.
