You are in the supermarket and you witness a brunette get some pasta. You have 1 move to get the ending you want. This is such a genious idea that it boggles my mind why it hasnt tried more often, even outside of the interactive fiction genre. But it wouldnt have worked nearly as well if the writing wasnt so good. The results will make you laught, sad, perplexed and enlightened. Since you choose in one move how the story ends, you can also choose the backstory to your character.

Because its such a short game to play it once, i played it enough times to get an ending that satisfied me. But there are hundreds of possible endings, and each is as well written as the other. There are also a few actions that are deemed to gruesome that your character wont even attempt, which is i guess disappointing.

Im very new to interactive fiction, but this seems to be one of the ideal games to start with. Its short, funny and gets its message across fast, while at the same time showing the player the huge amount of possibilities of the genre. Besides, its really really well written. You feel like you are in the head of a balding 40 year old and view life very differently, and for me thats a trait of a great story.
