Genre
One-move games are text adventure parser games where the player can only make one move, after which the game ends. The game generally has a multitude of different endings and a multitude of different moves which can be made and the player generally discovers what is going on by playing the game many different times.
The genre was popularized by Sam Barlow's Aisle (1999).
