The name of the game is slightly exaggerated, but it does point that is has more to do with party management that highly strategical battles. The "AFK" part is just that your active party continues to accumulate loot, so when you log in after several hours you come back to huge pile of loot so that you can upgrade your party. The microtransactions are not too intrusive, not very much of BUY THIS thrown at you but there are several paywall points where the enemies gets way too hard. To beat those you must must "AFK" for a while and then you can progress further. I've certainly seen worse gacha systems, here it's just to obtain duplicate heroes so you can combine them to higher tiers. Overall it's pretty addictive fun cause I'm really into party management, perfect for mobile in short sessions, there is no stamina system but you will end up being blocked in most modes anyway so that evens out.
